"Becoming Greek..."

In 1 Corinthians, Paul writes how to the Jews, he became like the Jews in order to win them. To the weak, he became like the weak in order the win them. Paul's words strike a hard chord in me as I begin working with Greek students at UC. Am I willing to become like a Greek in order to win them at UC?

Having graduated from college over eight years ago, "becoming Greek" doesn't offer much personal benefit. I'm not really joining a sorority after all, just learning how to be in Greek culture. So no cool house, no formals to attend, no Greek letters to add to my resume. I wouldn't even consider "becoming Greek" if Michelle wasn't planting this new ministry. So why Greek ministry?

Two reasons:
- A door opened for this ministry to start at UC.
- God loves this unreached group on campus.

I may not know a lot about being Greek yet, but I believe that God deeply loves Greek students at the University of Cincinnati. I know that deep in my bones. So the question is, while I'm here, will I love them too? Will I serve God by going to these students? By walking through the door God opened?
